Can't say this company sold me with the efforts they put forth over the summer. We had to have a new furnace and heat pump installed as our old system needed upgrading. Ben came by and was excellent in selling the options. Rómaniuk had some great summer deals so it was easy to make a dual install look like a steal but he was easy to deal with, no pressure and great with all the questions I had. Decided to go ahead with the modulating furnace and the higher end heat pump. $18000.00 for both.
On install day, boys were not too excited to run heat pump out the side of house as it was a harder run for them. They did get it done but several times tried to get me to run it straight out by deck...
Installed a 25A breaker when it needed a 20A breaker, heard the boys say it won't matter but it did as the inspector failed the install until they switched it out. My thermostat was replaced and the new one was slapped up in a half assed way.
Most importantly, we had issues with our panel box all summer long after the install. Turns out, the quick connect disconnect breaker by pump outside almost started on fire. Was it the equipment? Was it the care and attention of the guys who didnt care if they installed the wrong breaker who rushed it? Who knows but in my opinion, $18000.00 should pay for a quality install, peace of mind with care and attention to the little things so we feel safe in our home. Would I hire them again after this experience? No.

Romaniuk heating is the best. We had purchased our air conditioner in 2024 and loved the product and customer service. the salesman was very informative and was not pushing us to buy the most expensive air conditioner. He asked us what are needs were and our price point and we went from there. We were so impressed from product quality, customer service and the installation that we didn’t hesitate when we went to upgrade/replace our furnace in 2026 and went with Romaniuk. Same customer service, excellent installation and we recommend them to all our friends and neighbours. As well after speaking with the sales rep we opted to replace our sump pump and I am so thankful we did after the spring earl summer rainfalls we have had. It’s comforting knowing we weren’t going to have to worry about any flooding like so many people have this summer. Romaniuk for the win!
Ken H. came out to service our AC/furnace system and provided excellent customer service. He quickly identified that it hadn’t been installed properly and immediately knew what needed to be fixed. He replaced the necessary parts, made the proper adjustments, and took the time to ensure everything was balanced and working exactly as it should.
What stood out most was that Ken genuinely cared about doing the job right. He didn’t rush and made sure everything was up to standard before leaving.
The only suggestion I’d have for the company is to consider having a final inspection or quality assurance check after installations. It would help catch issues before homeowners experience problems and need to call for service.

It is truly unfortunate that it has come to this, but after multiple failed attempts to contact management to try and sort out these issues, I don’t feel I have any choice but to share our experience publicly.
We recently booked an install with Romaniuk at the end of April/beginning of May for a brand new AC unit and furnace.
It became apparent, after the jobs were finished, and the temperatures were dropping below zero at night, that the furnace was not working / not installed correctly. We have three year old and a newborn.
We contacted Romaniuk, and after multiple instances where a technician did not come when scheduled, we became increasingly frustrated. There were two days we took off work to ensure someone was at the property, including the day they just didn’t show up at all. This is on top of multiple days that were taken off work to do the original install.
After someone finally came to do the furnace analysis, it was discovered that the install was done incorrectly and the piping needed to be completely redone. This was entirely the contractor’s fault. No one followed up, we had to personally call in and schedule the work. Nobody reached out/followed up on the fact that the original install was done improperly.
Even though Romaniuk knew that the install was improperly done, we had to call multiple times to try and get it fixed. Apparently it is the customers job to try to fix issues and schedule an appointment with the company we spent nearly $13,000 with.
We finally had the contractors come back to re-install the furnace and proper piping. This was now the fourth day that had to be booked off work. I was horrified when the exact same contractors who did the original install (and did it wrong) showed up at the door to rip out and then re-do the work that they did incorrectly in the first place… They took no accountability nor did they apologize.
The piping on the outside was sealed and is a complete eye sore (photos attached). I even had to request that they add more sealant because there were holes in it, which would have become an issue with pests or rodents getting inside. They acted annoyed and inconvenienced by this. I also asked them to check and ensure both the furnace and AC were working properly before they left, and again, they acted annoyed that I even asked.
I simply cannot recommend an install by this company. After shopping with 5 other companies to do this job, we decided to use Romaniuk. What a mistake. We are incredibly disappointed with the lack of care, urgency, support, and most importantly, the quality of work. It is, to be frank, completely pathetic.
There has been no follow up and no one from management has reached out (even though we were told multiple times that they would be in touch immediately). Both my husband and I have contacted customer service via phone and email, and we’ve heard nothing. It’s been weeks.
Is this truly what this company provides as far as customer service? It’s honestly hard to believe. We will never use or recommend Romaniuk.

Installed Furnace, Air-conditioner and a Hot water tank for our house. Morgan and Raylin were the installers and they finished the work in very reasonable time. They were on time for the work and done excellent job in cleaning work area. Highly recommend Romaniuk for heating & Air conditioning work.
When my furnace stopped working during a brutal -30°C cold snap. From the very first phone call, the experience was exceptional. The representative who handled my booking — I believe her name was Cora or Sikora — was so incredibly kind, patient, and reassuring. She stayed calm while I was clearly frazzled and made me feel heard and prioritized. That level of compassion goes such a long way in a stressful situation.

Romaniuk did a great job installing my garage Allied gas heater. Quick! Darrien P. Estimate done Saturday, installed by Tuesday afternoon! They stuck to the quoted price even though it required a bit extra work. Wife said workers were courteous and professional.
I had Ryan Pr. as the technician for my Navien combination boiler, and he was excellent. He was incredibly knowledgeable and professional, took the time to do the job properly, and even offered helpful maintenance advice specific to my situation. He also pointed out a few small issues and repaired them at no extra cost.
Ryan explained the company’s services clearly while still giving me tailored, honest recommendations. Another company would have charged me far more for the same work. Overall, a smooth experience from start to finish. 10/10 highly recommend.

I wish I knew everyone’s name but Nick was the first guy I met👍, 110% satisfied with the work and the team who did it. Very friendly and professional. They replaced our aging furnace, hot water tank and installed AC. Everything was done in a day and the place was left spotless. Our house had some electrical issues from the previous owner which were trouble shot and repaired. Great job, would use them again and highly recommend them to friends and neighbours.
